Committee Member Benefits

• Help shape the SSYC Juniors Program to be one of the top programs in the area for today’s youth seeking guidance, encouragement, and a shared love for water sports.
• Positively influence the sailing lessons program to reach record-setting enrollment and attract high-quality instructors that bring out the best in the students. 
• Brainstorm and help organize events for the Junior members to develop friendships, generate financial income, and encourage off-and on-water fun.
• Give back to the community through events supporting local charities or programs. 

What you’ll do

• Share your skills and expertise to positively influence club members between the ages of 8 - 18. 
• Meet once a month, typically the third Thursday of the month, at South Shore Yacht Club.
• Committee members are not required to be members of South Shore Yacht Club.
